What a week

I usualy like it when we get a an extra day off during the week due to the fourth but this week ...!

Friday of last week our office goes home around two so I was giddy when my boss says"shoo" go home at 1:45pm. So lal laaalalalalal long weekend passes.... Bam! Tuesday back to work. I was pretty happy to be back nothing really pressing going on. Well, in my emal box I had an email from one of the guys at work that was traveling, this email ...well here it is....

In regards to the XXXX I asked you to look for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of last week, XXX XXXX will email this agreement to XXXX and myself today. Due to your lack of concern in this matter I will not seek your assistance in the future. By leaving early Friday and no conserdation given to the fact I had been waiting for this agreement for three days, the very least I would expect is a phone call letting me know you were leaving early and that you had not seen the agreement. Another option would be to tell someone, anyone, that I was expecting this agreement and ask them to let me know when it comes in. I had told my customer if I were to receive this agreement I would send it to the buyer immediatly. If my customer had sent it, and I had counted on you to follow through, I would have ended up lying to my customer. Since I could not even reach you on you cell phone, and you didn't bother to return my call, I wasted a day of my vacation to turn around and drive back to the office to check for the agreement myself. I did not want to call my customer at his home to ask if he had sent it. He would have then known that I did not have the professional support in my office that I have had previously. I will not allow my relathionship with my customer be affected becouse you were to busy getting off early to make a simple phone call to me. I will not ask or expect support in the future.

XXXXX ,You should receive the sales agreement from XXXXX very soon.

Thank you for your hep.. just sums it all up. So what happen is I foregot one tiny VERY important detail I was not done on Friday when I left. I felt awful but this! That email... let me just say that I tested my tear ducts on Tuesday and they are working! I was also told that people at my working flyinf off the handle is normal and I will have to get used to it. I am not sure that I will, but I will try. I talked to my boss and he agrees that I messed up and I know I did but I did not think that letter was ok. He said it will pass and also metioned that there is a hiring freeze there. I was told I would have job there after eighteen months I AM 15 months in!!!!! Wow! So I may be stressed a bit because I have some thinking to do. Things were better at work today but still going to think long and hard if this is what I want.
