We are back from a fun and odd family reunion down in Corpus Christi. I love seeing my aunt and uncle and my family that are scattered all over. There are a few that only care to nag about their sibblings to a not so ready ear and others that you get to know all over again. I always think of my grandmother and best friend and know she would love to have gone there and would be happy to see us all.

Cruise

A European news crew or I guess a joke television show (not sure did not read the whole article) squirted Tom Cruise in the face with water, for no real reason other then it seems that picking on people seems to be what people do now days. Yes he is acting kind of dorked out these days and who cares… don’t piss him off he will be in the news even more now! Jeebus!
I have never been a fan of Cruise and or never thought about him is my teens, because a) I was his height at 7 years old and b) he looks way too much like my cousin… I was way more into euro punk geeky guys like Elvis Costello growing up…any who!
This is so wrong what they did and got me to think if it went wrong then it would be ok to :
1) Pop Pamela Anderson Lee Anderson’s Boobs (* I actually think she is very funny, catch her Saturday night live performance a few years back)
2) Brush the Olson twins hair and tell them to STOP making the pouty duck lip pose.

I am sure if I were not horribly busy at work I could think of more… so I actually need to work…yikesMy .2

Race?

I work in the South West area of Austin, almost the Oakhill and this morning at a light a little red sports car (not even sure what it was) pulled up next to me and reved its engine ...like "lets race!" Last time I check I got into a little dinky Ford Focus... I just thought it was silly so I ignored him then he honked at me! Even if I was not half a sleep I would not race this weirdo. Well, on further investigation when I got into the office my little dinky is in fact a race car! Wow I am cool! These little dinky cars are raced in Europe... wow I am just way too cool now, driving up to Wal-Mart and HEB...Lookout!

PBS and NPR Petition

With the all the new students out there looking for a cause to rant about.... you can mark this one off your list.

PBS and NPR - Petition
In 1995 two well-meaning but misguided students at UNC started an email petition regarding pending legislation that would affect the funding for PBS and NPR. They didn't mean to open a can of worms, but they did. The petition is still circulating on the Internet and has taken on a life of its own.
If you have received this petition, please delete it and advise anyone within hearing distance to do the same.
For further information you can try these links:

We are sorry for any inconvenience this causes members of the Internet community.
Please be careful in forwarding any kind of email to large numbers of people. Too many people will take a message at face value without checking on its validity.

This makes me so mad!

When I was a girl growing up I knew that one day I wanted to be married and have children. I planed on being married in my thirties (this also change to being never ever wanting to be married back to at least thirty) and having my first child at 40!
So with that in mind, I did know that I wanted these lovely things at a later point in my life after I was mature. I really think that this is something most mature woman let fall by the waist side. I know that “life” happens and I am a prime example of this.
So despite all my intentions of keeping to my goal and knowing what I wanted out of life… I was a single mother two months shy of my twenty first birthday. I think the part that hurt the most was, what would this look like to my baby sister who was eleven at the time. My sister thought it was “neat” so no worries there and my parents’…ahh at the time I did not care. So once I knew that I was pregnant an amazing thing happened to me, I was probably the happiest that I had ever been in my whole entire life. (Note: I do not mention a father here, which is because he is not…. Peter Pan is more of a word for what he is) I will also say at age twenty one I was not a very mature person, and this I knew because of my goal. I was a good mom, I worked hard to provide everything on my own but there were times I just had no clue about how my life would turn out. I was “mom” I did not do anything but be mom and actually did not date until she was three.
I am thirty-two now and here is what I learned goals can be alter, tweaked a little bit and life has a way of falling into shape. I love being a mom and do not think I have missed out on anything… honest. I can do what ever I set my mind to and I just discovered this only a few years ago…. this leads to my huge angry vent.

Women, Teens, Men and Apes! DO NOT (this needs a repeat) DO NOT!!!!! HAVE CHILDREN EVER IF:
You are an idiot!
You hate children.
You have a drug or alcohol problem
You are a child yourself.
Or
You have them because they are cute little yuppie accessories for your Tahoe
You are selfish
… I think that covers it.

It hurts my heart so much to see all of the children in the world (who I might add did not ask to be born) being beaten, mentally abused and killed because some selfish idiot who hates not only their children but their selves CANT HANDLE IT.
Here is a prime and lovely example of an IDOIT (adoptive mother) who dumped here kids in AFRICA!!!!! She is from HOUSTON TEXAS!!!!

This is interesting. I just read the report about Terri Schiavo and how she became in her vegetative state. They think she may have od on caffeine.

Know anyone that have OD on Caffeine?

This weekend was pretty eventful I must say! Derek and I are in the process of cleaning up our spare room. When we got married we just had so much junk and we never did anything with it until ...this weekend. I found so many pictures and things I totally forgot about, tossed so many things out that our trash can will be full for a few weeks. So we will have an extra room which is good because I can start painting again and this makes me so happy.
